Greetings in the Matchless Name of Jesus!

On behalf of the entire faculty and staff of the Academy of Excellence, welcome to the 2011-12 school year! Whether you are a new or returning student, we have worked hard to prepare for your return. It is our sincere hope that you have every opportunity to make new friends, take new classes, achieve new goals, and participate in a variety of sports, clubs, and extra curricular activities.

As your principal, I look forward to meeting each of you as I walk the halls of our great school. I am so proud to be your principal, and will work hard to support students, parents, and staff as we build upon our past successes to achieve an even greater future.

One way to ensure a cooperative effort between students, parents, and staff, is to keep everyone informed. The Academy will continue to provide parent newsletters, progress reports, report cards, and notices of special events and activities. Additionally, we encourage each student and parent to personally get involved in the school! Students can participate athletically, academically, and socially. Parents can volunteer here at school, join the Parent Teacher Association, become an athletic team booster, or attend evening programs. However, you choose to participate, the main goal is to get involved.

Please take a moment to read The Academy of Excellence Student Handbook for it outlines expectations for student behavior and explains most school policies and procedures.

The Academy of Excellence is a very child centered school where each student is respected for his/her uniqueness and is taught accordingly. We believe that every child can learn so we never give up. Learning is enhanced in a positive, nurturing, and disciplined environment. We encourage your participation with regard to our continuing school improvement. Your continued commitment to education is valued and appreciated.
